From Bristol we traveled to the other side of the mountains to the Marion, NC which is about 30 miles northeast of Ashville. We were there while the leaves were changing. We drove up on the Blue Ridge parkway to Mt. Mitchell and were able to get a number of fall folage pictures.
Our campsite was immedeately adjacent to a mountain stream and I've included a couple of photo's of that as well.
So you're "artistic"? When are you going to paint another bass drum skin like you did back at G-A?
Oh, yeah, your brother's here and I want 6 cents to turn him loose. And one of the coins can't be a penny. Or, send a reply to this crazy e-mail, at least.
Still haven't guessed "who the hell is this?!" Do the initials RD stir a memory or three?
OK, I'll 'fess up... It's "Rusty" Daniels. HELLO from Lansing!!!
Long time, no see, kiddo. Have been reading up on you and am jealous you're retired and roaming around like you and Terry are. Sounds like a great time!
Hope all is well with you two and the cats. Drop a line sometime (rmdan@sbcglobal.net); would be wonderful to hear from you!
Both of us have retired from Law Enforcement careers and now devote much of our time to travel. We now plan on being on the road from June through October each year in our motorhome. Traveling with us are our two Burmese cats, LeMeiux and Hurakan.
Our motorhome is a 2005 Newmar Dutch Star diesel powered 40 footer. We have satellite tv, seperate washer and dryer, a king size air adjustable bed, and some custom cabinets.
We recently installed a custom work quilting/sewing center in place of the small sofa in the living room. Linda now has a place to pursue the making of her quilts. We tow a 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sahara behind our motorhome which we use while the rv is parked and for exploration of the mountains around Ouray, Colorado. Ouray is our favorite destination to date. We have been going there since 1993.
Terry's interests include travel, photography, reading, off road exploration, and fine food. Linda enjoys quilting, reading, painting, drawing, jewelry making, photography, travel, and fine food. We are members of the Newmar Kountry Klub, FMCA and Good Sam.
